Unofficial Roster Cuts

Tom Cable will address the media after practice to confirm the roster cuts and moves.

Colt Brennan – As expected. He was just a camp arm.

Jay Richardson – A bit surprising, but with injury he wasn’t spectacular.

Shaun Bodiford – Looks better in the final preseason game, but group was too big and he didn’t make enough plays.

Todd Watkins – Raiders got younger. I liked Watkins, but I’m guessing the Raiders could probably bring him back if any of the receivers don’t work out.

John Owens – Only two tight ends and Myers gets the nod despite recent struggles.

Manase Tonga – Practice Squad potential

Chris Morris – Surprising to me unless Satele earned starting role back.

Alex Parsons – Practice squad potential.

Brandon Rodd – Not good enough.

Greyson Gunheim – On this list every year it seems like.

Alex Daniels – Practice squad potential.

Kellen Heard – Practice squad potential.

William Joseph – Raiders finally found some better interior players.

Chris Cooper – Was sleeper many people had making roster. He could find a home elsewhere potentially or on practice squad.

David Nixon – Practice squad potential.

Slade Norris – Practice squad potential.

Joe Porter – Couldn’t make the team despite thin group.

Joey Thomas – Couldn’t make the team despite thin group.

Jerome Boyd – Team couldn’t keep six, practice squad potential.

Swayze Waters – Did enough that the Raiders may call if a kicker goes down due to injury.

Looks like we are still waiting for word on Travis Goethel, Walter McFadden, and Desmond Bryant.

They could all make the team now. Raiders need to make one more cut to get under the 53 man maximum.

  • @JuMosq Many good writers I knew couldn't do it. Had to sound smart. Had to use big words and too many fillers.

  • @JuMosq That's exactly what I mean. Interferes with the writing. "According to...per...a report by...via..." ugh!

  • @JuMosq How I wish I could've written with annotations instead of over linking every damn thing.
